S.P.A.F. (Saugerties Performing Arts Factory) Presents: All The Arts Under One Roof. April: 20, 21, 22. S.P.A.F. 169 Ulster Avenue, Saugerties, N.Y. 12477 The manufacturing of the Arts has been established in a 1914 building located in  the Village of Saugerties. Owners of the building Gerard and Erica Price have set  aside 21,000sf of their 55,000sf building for the arts. The owners of Uniforms, USA  have generously supported this project and have been hands on in converting this  space into a Performing Arts Venue. One side of this building now hosts: a 250 seat  theatre, art gallery, music venue, certified sound stage, outdoor stage and much  more. Under One Roof is their mantra and it certainly shows in their first show on the  weekend of April 20, 21, 22. Friday evening they open with two theatrical  performances, (a one man show and a short play by Eugene O’Neil), also that  evening a cabaret show with two vocalists and ending with a powerful  performance by professional Tango dancers. Saturday we repeat our theatrical  performances and turn the space over to our Jazz friends for an evening of song  and music. After their performance swing dance will also be happening for the  crowd to get up and dance. On Sunday, Phoenicia Festival of the Voice will bring  Opera to the Factory. On Saturday from 11-4 we have a kids day planned with magic, dance, painting,  cooking and plenty of FUN!  S.P.A.F. is a new venue designed to promote the arts, create jobs, and increase  tourism and to collaborate with local businesses to promote the Hudson Valley.
